Moscow Conference 23-25 May 2007
The theme of the conference was "Getting the message across". Experts from the worldwide business of mystery shopping gathered in Moscow to discuss vital interest for experienced members, new ones, and clients too - how to be successful in your everyday communications with clients, staff, shoppers and mass media. More than 85 delegates, including members of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) from 33 different countries, met to discuss a range of topics of importance to the industry. During the conference a number of client companies presented case studies showing how they use mystery shopping in different industries and countries. In a major announcement a planned programme of certification of European mystery shoppers was presented. Building on an established American programme, MSPA Europe believe that the programme will be important in recognizing mystery shopping as a professional occupation, not just a hobby. The Dinner event on Thursday evening in one of the oldest and most famous restaurants in Moscow “Pragda” was a big success in the exiting surroundings of the beautiful restaurant.

Dubrovnik Conference 10-12 May 2006
The theme of the conference was "Extending the Boundaries of Mystery Shopping". Experts from the worldwide business of mystery shopping gathered in Dubrovnik to discuss what builds excellent service and how to measure and improve it. More than 100 delegates, including members of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) from 30 different countries, met to discuss a range of topics of importance to the industry. During the conference a number of client companies presented case studies showing how they use mystery shopping in different industries and countries. A financial services client led a workshop with the goal of identifying challenges, which clients face when using mystery shopping, and how can MSPA help them.

Stockholm Conference 25 – 27 May 2005
The theme of the conference was "Measuring the moment of truth". 77 participants from all over the world (more then 24 countries were represented) had the chance to listen to speakers as Mark Michelson, Co-founder of MSPA, Lars Sörqvist (Six Sigma) and Jan Gunnarson about “The art of Hostmanship”. The participants could also join several panel discussions and workshops on both conference days. The Dinner cruise on Thursday evening in the Stockholm Archipelago was a big success, excellent food, ABBA music and beautiful surroundings. Afterwards some members explored the nightlife of Stockholm city! A wonderful and great experience!

Paris Conference 15-17 September 2004
The theme of the conference was "How do You Understand and Measure the Value of Mystery Shopping?". 79 participants from all over the world (24 countries were represented!) had the chance to listen to speakers from Air France, Accor Casinos, Euro Disney and Comite Regional Du Tourisme Paris-ile de France and join several workshops on both conference days. Thursday night we visited The Moulin Rouge for a fantastic show with dance and music and afterwards we explored Paris by night that ended by the Eiffel Tower at midnight. An amazing experience we will never forget!

Madrid Conference 25-27 February 2004
We had 50 participants from 31 companies and 16 different countries. The theme of this conference was "Improving the Client-Agency Relationship: How to build a better programme". We listened to several presentations and case studies on this topic and a client from the Automotive industry gave a much appreciated presentation. We also had presentations about video mystery shopping and advances in software for mystery shopping. The dinner event and flamenco show at Cafe de Chinitas was a big success.

London Workshop 3-5 September 2003
We listened to presentations about the Mystery Shopping markets in Belgium, Slovenia and Japan and also heard interesting presentations about the concept of adding value to the Mystery Shopping services. We were informed about the MSPA Mystery Shopping guidelines, standards and ethics etc. Vendors showed video equipment and software programmes especially designed for Mystery Shopping. Many companies met new business partners and a lot of knowledge was exchanged.
